Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), head southeast on Gizenga Street. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Mchangani Street. Turn left onto Mchangani Street and walk for another 300 meters. The Culture Musical Club Building will be on your right, just before you reach the intersection with Baghani Street.

    If you're starting from Forodhani Gardens, walk east towards the Old Fort. Once you reach the Old Fort, follow the previous route by taking Gizenga Street southeast. Continue for approximately 500 meters, then turn left onto Mchangani Street and walk another 300 meters to reach the Culture Musical Club Building on your right.

    Starting from the Zanzibar Ferry Terminal, exit the terminal and head south towards the main road, Kivukoni Road. Turn left and walk along the road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Gizenga Street. Turn right onto Gizenga Street and follow it for 500 meters until you reach Mchangani Street. Turn left and walk 300 meters to find the Culture Musical Club Building on your right.
