Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), which is a well-known landmark in Stone Town. From the Old Fort, head east towards the ocean. As you reach the waterfront, turn south and continue walking along the beach road (Mizingani Road). After a short walk, you will pass the famous Forodhani Gardens on your left. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Baghani Street. Turn left onto Baghani Street, and Jaw's Corner will be located on your right after a few minutes of walking.

    If you're starting from the House of Wonders (Beit-al-Ajaib), exit the building and walk towards the Old Fort. Keep the Old Fort on your right as you head towards the waterfront. Once you reach Mizingani Road, turn south and walk along the beach. After passing Forodhani Gardens, look for the intersection with Baghani Street. Turn left onto Baghani Street, and Jaw's Corner will be on your right shortly after.

    From the Darajani Market, exit the market and head towards the western end of the market. Walk straight down Soko Muhogo Street until you reach Mizingani Road. Turn right onto Mizingani Road and walk towards the waterfront. After passing Forodhani Gardens, take the left at Baghani Street. Jaw's Corner is a short walk down on your right.
