Start at the Forodhani Gardens, a popular and lively area in Stone Town. From the gardens, head east towards the Old Fort. As you approach the Old Fort, you will see the entrance on your left. Continue walking past the Old Fort and proceed along the main road, which will curve slightly to the right. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Hurumzi Street. Turn left onto Hurumzi Street. Continue walking; The 189 Gizenga House will be on your left side at number 189.

If you're starting from the House of Wonders, exit the museum and walk towards the waterfront. Head south along the waterfront road until you reach the Forodhani Gardens. From there, follow the previous directions: head east towards the Old Fort, continue past it, and turn left onto Hurumzi Street. The 189 Gizenga House is located at number 189 on your left.
