Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
To use a boda boda, find a designated pick-up point in Stone Town. Let the driver know you want to go to Ngome Kongwe (Old Fort). The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand, which should be around 3,000 to 5,000 TZS.

If you prefer public transport, locate the nearest Dala Dala stop in Stone Town. Take a Dala Dala heading towards Mombasa. Get off at the stop near the Old Fort. From there, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Ngome Kongwe. The fare is quite inexpensive, usually around 500 TZS.
