Start from the center of Stone Town, near the Old Fort. Head east on Gizenga Street towards the waterfront. Walk along the coast on the beach road, enjoying the ocean view. Continue walking until you reach the main road, where you will see signposts towards Jozani Forest. Follow the signs as you walk south along the road until you reach the entrance of Jozani Forest, which is located in Mapopwe.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Stone Town. Start from the central market area and head east along the coast on the beach road. Keep pedaling straight until you reach the main road, then follow the signposts directing you to Jozani Forest. The ride will take you through beautiful rural scenery, and you should arrive at the entrance of the forest in about 30-40 minutes.

Find a Bodaboda taxi (motorcycle taxi) near the Old Fort or any busy street in Stone Town. Tell the driver you want to go to Jozani Forest in Mapopwe.
