    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Stone Town, head north towards the seafront along Kenyatta Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Mizingani Road. Turn left on Mizingani Road and walk along the waterfront until you reach the end of the road. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Malindi Road. Follow Malindi Road, which will eventually turn into Nungwi Road. Continue straight for approximately 50 minutes until you reach Nungwi. You will see signs directing you to the beach area.

    Dala Dala (Local Minibus)

    To reach Nungwi by Dala Dala, walk to the main Dala Dala station located near the central market in Stone Town. Look for the Dala Dala heading to Nungwi (it may be labeled as 'Nungwi' or 'Kendwa'). Once you board, the ride will take about 1 hour. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination. The Dala Dala will drop you off near the beach area in Nungwi.

    Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Stone Town. Start your journey by heading north towards the seafront along Kenyatta Road. Once you reach Mizingani Road, turn left and cycle along the waterfront. Continue until the roundabout and take the first exit onto Malindi Road. Follow Nungwi Road straight to your destination. The bike ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your speed.
