From the center of Stone Town, start at the iconic Forodhani Gardens. Head south towards the waterfront, enjoying the views of the Indian Ocean. Continue walking along the beach road until you reach the intersection with Kenyatta Road. Turn left onto Kenyatta Road and proceed straight until you reach the crossroads at Mkunazini Street. Turn right onto Mkunazini Street and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the Said Muhoud Mosque on your left, marked by its distinct architecture.

If you are near the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe), exit the fort and turn right onto the main street (Soko Muhogo). Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Mkunazini Street. Turn left onto Mkunazini Street and continue for about 5 minutes. The Said Muhoud Mosque will be on your right side. Look for the large minaret as a landmark.
