Zanzi Eats Stone Town Food Tour with 15+ Tastings
A taste of Zanzibar with a soul
I had the priviledge of being Chef's tour in Zanzibar's first client! It was a wonderful experience to be led around the maze of streets of Stone City by Mariam in search for Zanzibari culinary gems such as aluwa or the zanzibar mix, and to learn about culinary traditions and the origins of zanzibari cuisine while savouring them. Mariam is a very personable person, who has her heart set on showing you a good time! I was on the afternoon tour, which I warmly recommend because you get to go to the fish market and buy the fish that will be cooked for you on Nakupenda sand bar while the sun sets - that's an unforgetable experience.
