If you have rented a car, head towards the northern part of Zanzibar. From Stone Town, take the B1 road heading north. Follow the signs towards Nungwi, and continue on this road for about 60 km. Once you reach Nungwi, look for the sign for Baobab Beach or use GPS coordinates (-5.7327303, 39.2905529) to navigate directly. Parking is available near the beach, but expect a small fee for parking.

Taxi

For a more convenient option, you can hire a taxi from any location in Zanzibar. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. A taxi from Stone Town to Baobab Beach typically costs around $40-$50 USD, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. The drive takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

Public Transportation (Dalla Dalla)

To reach Baobab Beach via public transport, you can take a Dalla Dalla (minibus) from Stone Town to Nungwi. Head to the Dalla Dalla stand near the Old Fort in Stone Town and find one heading to Nungwi. The fare is about 2,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). The journey may take around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Nungwi, you can either walk to Baobab Beach (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local taxi for around 5,000 TZS.
