Continue on this road for approximately 60 km. Follow the signs for Nungwi. Once you reach Nungwi, look for signs directing you to the Swim with Turtles sanctuary, which is situated near the beach area. Parking is available nearby.

To reach Nungwi by public transportation, take a daladala (local minibus) from Stone Town to Nungwi. The fare is usually around 2,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). The journey takes about 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Nungwi, ask the driver or locals for directions to the Swim with Turtles sanctuary, which is located close to the beach. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the daladala drop-off point.

For a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from any point in Zanzibar. From Stone Town to Nungwi, the taxi fare typically ranges from 40,000 to 60,000 TZS. The drive will take about 1 hour. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will drop you off near the Swim with Turtles sanctuary, which is easily accessible from the main road.
