If you're driving from Stone Town, head east on Mkunazini Street towards the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Nyerere Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Karume Road (the main road towards the east coast). Follow Karume Road for approximately 3 kilometers, and Sansibar will be located on your left at the coordinates R6M3+QGM. Ensure you have enough fuel, as gas stations may be limited in some areas.

From Stone Town, head to the Dala Dala (local minibus) station near the Old Fort. Look for a Dala Dala heading towards Jambiani or Paje; they regularly stop on Karume Road.
