Once you reach Nungwi village, look for signs directing you to the Swim with Turtles Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located along the coast, and you should find parking available nearby.

To reach Swim with Turtles Sanctuary using public transport, head to the main daladala (minibus) station in Zanzibar Town. Catch a daladala heading to Nungwi. The fare is usually around 2,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Inform the conductor that you are going to Nungwi. Once you arrive in Nungwi, you can walk or take a local taxi (about 5,000 TZS) to the sanctuary, which is a short distance from where the daladala stops.

For a more comfortable option, hire a taxi from Zanzibar Town to Nungwi. Agree on a fare before starting your journey; it should cost around 40,000 to 60,000 TZS. The drive will take about 1.5 hours. The taxi will drop you off directly at the Swim with Turtles Sanctuary.
