Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the main city of Zanzibar Town. Head west on the Mkunazini Road toward the coast. Continue on this road for about 15 minutes, passing through the neighborhoods of Shangani and Mji Mkongwe. Look for signs directing you towards P.O. Box 1488, which is in the West region of Zanzibar. Once you reach the area, you can park your car nearby and walk to the Zanzibar Quest location. Parking fees may apply, so be prepared for a small cost.

• Public Transportation (Dala Dala)

  To reach Zanzibar Quest using public transportation, find a Dala Dala (local minibus) heading towards the west side of Zanzibar Town. You can catch a Dala Dala from the main Dala Dala stand in Stone Town. The fare is usually quite cheap (around 500-1000 TZS). Inform the conductor that you are heading to P.O. Box 1488. The journey may take 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you get off, ask locals for directions to Zanzibar Quest if needed, as it is a well-known location.

• Taxi

  For a more comfortable ride, consider taking a taxi. You can easily hail one from anywhere in Zanzibar Town. Make sure to negotiate the fare or ask the driver to use the meter. The taxi ride to Zanzibar Quest should take around 15 minutes, depending on traffic, and may cost between 10,000 to 20,000 TZS. Ensure you have cash on hand, as many drivers may not accept cards.
