If you are in the heart of Stone Town, start at the Old Fort (Ngome Kongwe) located at the coast. From the Old Fort, head east along the coast for about 200 meters until you reach the main road (Mizingani Rd). Turn left onto Mizingani Rd and walk for another 300 meters. You will reach the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Rd. Turn right onto Benjamin Mkapa Rd and continue straight for about 500 meters. The Peace Memorial Museum will be on your left side, marked by its distinct entrance.

If you are at Forodhani Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards the main road (Mizingani Rd). Walk west along Mizingani Rd for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Benjamin Mkapa Rd. Turn left onto Benjamin Mkapa Rd and continue straight for approximately 500 meters. The Peace Memorial Museum will be on your left.
