Walking
If you are already in the Kiwengwa area, you can reach Bashir by walking. Start from the Kiwengwa Beach, head east towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn right and walk along the road for about 10 minutes. You will see a sign for Bashir on your left. The exact address is Kiwengwa 73209.
Bicycle Rental
For a more comfortable journey, consider renting a bicycle. Many local shops offer bicycle rentals. Once you have a bicycle, head towards the main road from Kiwengwa Beach. Turn right and ride straight for about 10 minutes. Look for the Bashir sign along the way. Be mindful of the local traffic and pedestrians.
Local Guide
If you prefer not to navigate alone, consider hiring a local guide. You can find guides near Kiwengwa Beach or through your accommodation. They can take you directly to Bashir, providing insight into the local culture and attractions along the way. The cost for a local guide may vary, so it's best to negotiate the fee upfront.
Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
You can also use a local motorbike taxi service, known as Boda Boda. Find a Boda Boda driver near Kiwengwa Beach and tell them you want to go to Bashir. The ride should take about 5 minutes and usually costs around 5,000 to 10,000 TZS (Tanzanian Shillings). Make sure to agree on the price before starting your journey.
