Turn left onto E Aquarium Way and then immediately turn right onto N Holtzclaw Ave. After about 0.2 miles, take a left onto E 3rd St. Continue for another 0.3 miles and the Ed Johnson Memorial will be on your right. Parking is available along the roadway or in nearby lots, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus. Look for the bus route that services the Riverfront area, such as Route 4. Board the bus at a nearby stop and ride until you reach the stop at E 3rd St and N Holtzclaw Ave. From there, it's a short walking distance to the Ed Johnson Memorial, which is located just a couple of blocks away. Walking
If you’re already close to the Riverfront area, walking is a great option. Begin at the Chattanooga Riverfront Park and head southwest along the waterfront. Follow the walking path along the Tennessee River until you reach E 3rd St. Turn left on E 3rd St and walk about 0.5 miles. The Ed Johnson Memorial will be on your left. This scenic route offers beautiful views of the river and is a pleasant way to reach your destination.
