If you're driving, start from downtown Chattanooga. Head east on E 4th St toward Broad St. Turn left onto Broad St and continue for about 2 miles. Merge onto I-24 E toward Knoxville. After approximately 4 miles, take exit 185B to merge onto I-75 N. Continue for 5 miles and take exit 1A for US-41 N/US-76 E. Follow US-41 N for about 3 miles, then turn left onto Kings Point Rd. The Chickamauga Dam Day Use Area will be on your right at 3012-3020 Kings Point Rd.

Public Transportation
To reach the Chickamauga Dam Day Use Area via public transportation, take the CARTA bus from downtown Chattanooga. Board the No. 11 bus heading toward Northgate Mall. Ride for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop at Hixson Pike and Shallowford Rd. From there, you will need to walk 1.5 miles to reach the dam area. Head north on Hixson Pike, then turn left onto Kings Point Rd. The entrance to the Chickamauga Dam Day Use Area will be on your left.
