Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from downtown Chattanooga and head south on Broad Street. Continue straight as Broad Street becomes W 4th St, then turn left onto S Market St. Follow this route until you reach the ramp to I-24 W toward Nashville. Merge onto I-24 W and take exit 178 for US-41 toward Lookout Mountain. After exiting, turn left onto W Brow Rd, and follow it until you reach 405 W Brow Rd, Lookout Mountain, TN 37350. There is parking available at Sunset Rock.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take the CARTA bus system. Board the Route 5 bus from downtown Chattanooga, which heads toward Lookout Mountain. Ensure you check the latest schedule, as services may vary. Get off at the stop nearest to W Brow Rd. From there, you will need to walk about 0.5 miles to reach Sunset Rock. Be aware that this route may take longer and check local bus schedules for updates and any applicable fares.

• Walking

  If you're already near the area, you can walk to Sunset Rock from nearby locations. Walking from the Lookout Mountain area involves following W Brow Rd. Be prepared for some elevation and wear comfortable shoes. The scenic views along the way are worth the trek!
