From Downtown Chattanooga, walk to the nearest public transit stop at 11th St & Market St. Board the CARTA bus #12 Lookout Mountain route. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the Lookout Mountain stop. From there, walk for 10 minutes to the historical marker at 167H, E 017, Lookout Mountain, TN 37350. The cost for a one-way bus ticket is $1.75.
