Car
If you're driving, start on Main St in Chattanooga Valley and head west. Turn right onto US-27 N. Continue on US-27 N for about 10 miles. Take exit 1B to merge onto I-24 W toward Nashville. After about 4 miles, take exit 1A to merge onto US-27 N toward Hixson. Follow US-27 N for another 5 miles, then take exit 1C toward Downtown Chattanooga. Merge onto E 4th St and continue for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Dartmouth St. The Tennessee River Gorge Trust will be on your left at 1214 Dartmouth St.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, start by taking the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus route 4 from the nearest bus stop in Chattanooga Valley. The bus will take you toward the downtown area. Get off at the stop near the Chattanooga Market. From there, transfer to bus route 8, which goes toward North Chattanooga. You will need to get off at the stop closest to Dartmouth St. Walk about 5 minutes south on Dartmouth St to reach the Tennessee River Gorge Trust at 1214 Dartmouth St. Note that bus fares are typically $1.75 per ride.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local bike-sharing stations in Chattanooga Valley. From there, head toward Riverwalk along the Tennessee River. Follow the river path, which will lead you toward downtown Chattanooga. Make your way to the intersection of E 4th St and Dartmouth St, then continue biking up Dartmouth St. The Tennessee River Gorge Trust will be on your left at 1214 Dartmouth St. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.
