Start your journey at the Chattanooga Choo Choo station. From there, take the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus route 4 towards Lookout Mountain. The bus will take you to the Lookout Mountain area. You will need to get off at the stop closest to Cravens House, which is at the intersection of W. Brow Rd. and Cravens Terrace. From the bus stop, walk along Cravens Terrace for about 0.5 miles until you reach Cravens House. The path is well-marked, and you can enjoy the scenic views of the area along the way.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bike, you can rent one from a local bike rental service in downtown Chattanooga. Head towards the Tennessee Riverwalk and follow the path until you reach the base of Lookout Mountain. From there, use the bike lanes to navigate towards W. Brow Rd. and then take a left on Cravens Terrace. Continue riding for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at Cravens House. This route provides a lovely view of the surrounding nature and is moderately challenging.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start at the Chattanooga Riverfront. From there, head west toward Lookout Mountain. It’s approximately a 3-mile walk. Follow the signs towards the Lookout Mountain trails as you make your way up. Once you reach W. Brow Rd., turn left and walk along Cravens Terrace for about 0.5 miles until you reach Cravens House. This route takes you through some beautiful neighborhoods and offers a great workout.
