Walking
From the Northshore area, start at Coolidge Park, located at 150 River St, Chattanooga, TN 37405. Head northwest on River St towards the Walnut St Bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left onto Riverwalk. Continue walking along the river until you reach the end of the walkway, where you will join with the road. Follow River St until you reach the intersection with Signal Mountain Blvd.

At the intersection of River St and Signal Mountain Blvd, catch the CARTA bus route 6 (Lookout Mountain). The bus will take you towards the Lookout Mountain area. Make sure to check the bus schedule for times and frequency. The fare for the bus is $1.50, and you can pay using cash or a transit card.

Once you reach the Lookout Mountain area, get off at the nearest stop and head towards the trailhead for Snooper's Rock. You can ask locals for directions to the trailhead, as it may not be well-marked. The trail itself is a short hike, approximately 1 mile from the nearest bus stop. Follow the trail, and you will reach Snooper's Rock, where you can enjoy stunning views of the Tennessee River and surrounding landscape.
