Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of Beale Street, start by heading east on Beale Street toward S Main St. Continue walking until you reach S Main St. Turn right onto S Main St and walk south for about 0.3 miles until you reach GE Patterson Ave. Turn left onto GE Patterson Ave and walk for about 0.1 miles. The Letter Carriers Band Mural will be on your left at 79 GE Patterson Ave.

  If you are driving, start on Beale Street and head east toward S Main St. Merge onto S Main St and continue south for about 0.3 miles. Turn left onto GE Patterson Ave. The destination at 79 GE Patterson Ave will be on your left. There is street parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees or restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take the MATA bus service. Look for the bus routes that operate along Beale Street. You can catch Route 50 or Route 2, which have stops near Beale Street. Get off at the stop closest to S Main St and GE Patterson Ave. From there, it is about a 5-minute walk: head south on S Main St, then turn left onto GE Patterson Ave, and the mural will be at 79 GE Patterson Ave on your left.
