Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection of South Illinois Avenue and Emory Valley Road. Turn right onto Emory Valley Road and continue for approximately 1 mile. You will see Melton Lake Park on your left, just before you reach the intersection with Melton Lake Drive.

    From the Oak Ridge City Center, take the greenway path that starts near the Oak Ridge Library. Follow the path south along the water, which will eventually lead you to Melton Lake Park. The ride is approximately 2 miles and is a scenic route along the lake, allowing you to enjoy the views of nature as you approach the park.

    If you are near the Oak Ridge City Center, you can take the Oak Ridge public bus (Route 1) towards the Oak Ridge High School. Get off at the stop on Emory Valley Road. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Melton Lake Park. Head southeast on Emory Valley Road, and after about 0.5 miles, the park will be on your left.
