If you are in the heart of Oak Ridge, start at the Oak Ridge Public Library located at 140 Library Square. Exit the library and head northwest on Library Square towards the intersection with New York Avenue. Turn right onto New York Avenue and continue straight until you reach the junction with W Outer Drive. Turn left onto W Outer Drive. Walk for about 0.5 miles, and you'll find the Manhattan Project National Historical Park Information Desk at 461 W Outer Dr on your right. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

From the Oak Ridge Transit Center, located at 100 East Main Street, take the bus route that heads towards the Oak Ridge Community Center. Alight at the Community Center stop. From there, walk northwest on Oak Ridge Turnpike towards the intersection with W Outer Drive. Turn left onto W Outer Drive and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. The Manhattan Project National Historical Park Information Desk will be on your left at 461 W Outer Dr. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes, plus a 5-minute walk.
