If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Gatlinburg, TN. Head southwest on Parkway toward US-441 S. Continue on US-441 S for about 10 miles, following signs for Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Once you reach the park, enter through the main entrance. After entering the park, continue on Newfound Gap Road for about 12 miles until you reach the Oconaluftee Visitor Center. The Mountain Farm Museum is located right next to the Oconaluftee Visitor Center. There is parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the Great Smoky Mountains Transit Authority bus from Gatlinburg to Cherokee. The bus departs from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. The ride will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cherokee, get off at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center stop. The Mountain Farm Museum is located adjacent to the visitor center. From the bus stop, it’s just a short walk to the museum entrance.
