Car
If you are driving, start from the Ruby Falls Visitor Center. Head northeast on N. Scenic Hwy toward TN-148 S. After about 1 mile, turn left onto TN-148 S. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction with TN-27 N. Merge onto TN-27 N and drive for about 3 miles. Take the exit for Signal Mountain. Follow the signs to Signal Mountain, which will lead you to the main area. Look for parking once you arrive.
Public Transportation
To reach Signal Mountain using public transportation, you can take the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) bus. Start at the Ruby Falls Visitor Center and walk to the nearest bus stop on N. Scenic Hwy. Take the bus route that goes towards downtown Chattanooga and transfer to a bus heading towards Signal Mountain (Route 4 can be an option). Follow the bus line until you reach the stop at Signal Mountain. From there, it will be a short walk to the main area of Signal Mountain.
