Public Bus
If you're starting from downtown Amarillo, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Amarillo City Transit Bus Route 2. Ride the bus towards the Westgate Mall. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you reach the stop at I-27 & 34th St, get off the bus. From there, you will need to walk about half a mile west along 34th Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Streit Drive. Turn left onto Streit Drive, and the Don Harrington Discovery Center will be on your right.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, start from the Amarillo Civic Center. Head east on 6th Avenue towards Bell Street. Turn left on Bell Street and continue until you reach 34th Street. Turn right onto 34th Street. After about a mile, turn left onto Streit Drive. The Don Harrington Discovery Center will be ahead on your right. Be sure to follow bike lanes where available for safety.
