Getting There

Public Transit
Start at the Amarillo Civic Center, located at 401 S Buchanan St. Take the Amarillo City Transit bus route 1, heading towards the Medical Center. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 34th Ave and Soncy Rd. From there, transfer to bus route 4 towards the Westgate Mall. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes, and get off at the stop at 26th Ave and Soncy Rd. Walk north on Soncy Rd for about 0.5 miles, and you will find the Wildcat Bluff Discovery Center at 2301 N Soncy Rd. It should take you around 30 minutes in total, including walking and waiting times.

If you prefer cycling, start in downtown Amarillo at the intersection of 6th Ave and Polk St. Head west on 6th Ave, which will turn into 9th Ave. Continue on 9th Ave until it intersects with Soncy Rd. Turn left (south) onto Soncy Rd and bike for approximately 3 miles. The Wildcat Bluff Discovery Center will be on your right at 2301 N Soncy Rd. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
