If you are near the Texas State Capitol, head south on Congress Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach 4th Street. Turn left onto 4th Street and walk for about two blocks. The Austin Visitor Center will be on your right at 602 E 4th St.

To take the bus, locate the nearest bus stop along 6th Street or Congress Avenue. You can catch the E-Bus or other Metro routes that service downtown Austin. Get off at the '4th St & Trinity St' stop. From there, walk east on 4th Street for about 2 blocks, and you will see the Austin Visitor Center located at 602 E 4th St. Note that a single ride costs $1.25, and you may need to have exact change.
