Getting There

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you're starting at the Texas State Capitol, walk to the nearest bus stop at 15th St & Congress Ave. Catch the #1 bus heading towards the South Congress area. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the stop at 6th St & Trinity St. From there, walk east on 6th St for about 5 minutes until you reach 732 E 6th St, where the Historic 6th Street Mural is located.

• Walking

  If you're near the University of Texas at Austin, exit the campus from the main entrance and head south on Guadalupe St. Continue until you reach 6th St. Turn left and walk east on 6th St for about 15 minutes. The Historic 6th Street Mural will be on your left at 732 E 6th St.

• Biking

  Rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around downtown Austin. Start at the station closest to you and head east on 6th St. If you're coming from the South Congress area, bike across the Congress Ave Bridge and continue on 6th St until you reach 732 E 6th St. There are bike racks available near the mural for parking.

• Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

  Open your rideshare app and set your destination to 732 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78701. If you are anywhere in downtown Austin, you should expect a short ride. The driver will drop you off right outside the mural.
