Getting There

• Bus

  From downtown Austin, head to the nearest bus stop and take Capital Metro Bus Route 7 (the 'Lamar Boulevard' route) heading north. You will need to get off at the stop at 'Red River St & 24th St'. Once you disembark, walk east on 24th Street for about two blocks until you reach the intersection with Red River Street. Turn left (north) on Red River Street and walk for about 5 minutes. The LBJ Presidential Library will be on your right at 2313 Red River St.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around Austin. Start at the station nearest to you and head towards the University of Texas campus. Follow the designated bike lanes on Guadalupe Street heading north until you reach 24th Street. Turn left (west) on 24th Street, and then right (north) on Red River Street. The LBJ Presidential Library will be located at 2313 Red River St, just a short ride away.

• Walking

  If you're staying near the University of Texas at Austin, the LBJ Presidential Library is within walking distance. Start at the main entrance of the university and walk north on Guadalupe Street. After about 10 minutes, turn left on 24th Street. Continue walking until you reach Red River Street, then turn right. The LBJ Presidential Library will be on your right at 2313 Red River St.
