Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    If you are starting from downtown Austin, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Capital Metro Bus Route 4 (which travels towards the 'Mopac/Westgate' area). After approximately 10 stops (around 15-20 minutes), get off at the '6th & Lamar' stop. From there, walk north on Lamar Boulevard for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Niles Road. Turn right on Niles Road, and you will find Pease Mansion at 6 Niles Rd on your left.

  • Public Transit - MetroRail

    From downtown Austin, make your way to the downtown MetroRail station. Board the MetroRail on the red line heading north towards Leander. Get off at the 'Highland Station' after about 20 minutes. From there, catch the bus Route 3 (which heads towards 'South Congress') and get off at the '6th & Lamar' stop. Walk north on Lamar Boulevard for about 0.5 miles, turn right on Niles Road, and Pease Mansion will be at 6 Niles Rd on your left.
