Public Transit - Bus
If you're in downtown Austin, you can catch any of the buses that stop near 6th Street and Congress Avenue. Look for the MetroRapid buses, specifically the 801 or 803 routes. Get off at the Republic Square stop, which is a short walk from the park. Once you exit the bus, head north on Guadalupe Street, and after a couple of blocks, you'll find Republic Square at 422 Guadalupe St.

If you're already in the downtown area, walking to Republic Square is a great option. From the Texas State Capitol building, exit to the south and walk down Congress Avenue toward 6th Street.
