Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you're in downtown Austin, you can catch any of the buses that stop near 6th Street and Congress Avenue. Look for the MetroRapid buses, specifically the 801 or 803 routes. Get off at the Republic Square stop, which is a short walk from the park. Once you exit the bus, head north on Guadalupe Street, and after a couple of blocks, you'll find Republic Square at 422 Guadalupe St.

• Walking

  If you're already in the downtown area, walking to Republic Square is a great option. From the Texas State Capitol building, exit to the south and walk down Congress Avenue toward 6th Street. After about a 10-minute walk, turn left onto 6th Street and walk a couple of blocks until you reach Guadalupe Street. Turn right, and you'll see Republic Square on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, there are bike lanes throughout downtown Austin. You can start from the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail. Head west towards the city center and take a left on 3rd Street. Continue until you reach Guadalupe Street, then turn right. Republic Square will be on your right at 422 Guadalupe St.

• Rideshare (e.g., Uber/Lyft)

  For a convenient option, consider using a rideshare service. Simply open the app and set your destination to 'Republic Square, 422 Guadalupe St, Austin, TX 78701.' The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the park.
