From there, transfer to the Capital Metro Bus #20 (the 'Manchaca Rd' route) at the bus stop near the station. Ride the bus for about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'S. 1st St & W. Slaughter Ln' stop. From there, walk east on Slaughter Ln for about 10 minutes until you reach Nelms Dr. Turn left on Nelms Dr and walk about 5 minutes to arrive at Sneed House located at 1801 Nelms Dr, Austin, TX 78744.

Start by heading south on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail along Lady Bird Lake. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with S. Congress Ave. Turn left onto S. Congress Ave and continue south until you reach W. Slaughter Ln. Turn right on W. Slaughter Ln. Continue for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Nelms Dr. Sneed House will be on your right at 1801 Nelms Dr.
Walking
If you're in the vicinity of South Congress, you can walk to Sneed House. Start from the South Congress Bridge and head south along S. Congress Ave. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with W. Slaughter Ln. Turn left onto W. Slaughter Ln and walk for about 1 mile. After passing the intersection with Manchaca Rd, look for Nelms Dr on your right. Turn right and continue walking about 5 minutes until you reach 1801 Nelms Dr, the location of Sneed House.
