From The Domain, you can take the Capital Metro bus #383 towards 'Tech Ridge'. Get off at the 'Mopac/Parmer' stop. Then transfer to bus #4 towards 'Manchaca/Slaughter'. Ride this bus until you reach the 'Congress & 4th' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Mexic-Arte Museum located at 419 Congress Ave. The total bus fare is $1.25 for a single ride.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-share programs available in The Domain. Head south on Burnet Rd, then take a left onto 45th St. Continue heading east until you reach the intersection with Congress Ave. Turn right onto Congress Ave and continue south until you arrive at the museum. For a leisurely walk, start at any point in The Domain and head south towards Burnet Rd. Walk along Burnet Rd until you reach the intersection with 45th St. Turn right on 45th St and continue walking east. Once you reach Congress Ave, turn right and walk south until you reach the Mexic-Arte Museum at 419 Congress Ave. The walk is about 4 miles and will take approximately 1.5 hours.
