If you're driving, start your journey from the nearest major town, which is Alpine, TX. From Alpine, head southwest on US-90 W for approximately 24 miles until you reach the junction with TX-118 S. Turn left onto TX-118 S and continue for about 21 miles. You will then reach the entrance of Big Bend National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs towards the Castolon area. After about 25 miles, keep an eye out for Unnamed Road on your right. Turn onto this road and continue until you arrive at Luna's Jacal, which is situated along this dirt road. Note that a park entry fee may apply, which is $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
