From downtown Brownsville, you can catch the 5 or 9 bus routes that head toward the direction of Sabal Palm Sanctuary. Make your way to the nearest bus stop on Elizabeth Street, and board the bus. Ride until you reach the intersection of West 14th Street and Paredes Line Road. Transfer to the 10 bus route here. Continue on the 10 bus until you reach the stop closest to the Sabal Palm Sanctuary. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the sanctuary entrance at 8435 Sabal Palm Grove Rd.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local shop in downtown Brownsville. Head east on Elizabeth Street, then turn left onto West 14th Street. Continue straight until you reach Paredes Line Road, where you will turn right. Follow Paredes Line Road north, and then take a left on Sabal Palm Grove Road. The sanctuary will be on your left. Make sure to follow all traffic rules and wear a helmet for safety!

After several blocks, turn left on Sabal Palm Grove Road, and follow the road until you see the entrance to Sabal Palm Sanctuary on your left at 8435 Sabal Palm Grove Rd. Be prepared for a long walk, as it’s a few miles from the historic district.
