    To reach the Austin Sign at 1720 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78704 by car, start on I-35 N if you are coming from the south or I-35 S if you are coming from the north. Take exit 234B for US-290 W toward TX-71 W. Merge onto US-290 W and continue for about 3 miles. Keep right at the fork to continue on TX-71 W. Take the exit toward S 1st St, then turn left onto S 1st St. Continue on S 1st St for about 1 mile, and you will see the Austin Sign on your left. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be sure to check for parking regulations.

    If you are using public transportation, you can take the Capital Metro bus. Locate the nearest bus stop and board either Route 1 (North Lamar/South Congress) or Route 20 (Burnet/South Congress).
