If you are driving to the Austin Visitor Center, start by getting onto I-35 from your current location in Central Texas. Head north on I-35 and take exit 234C toward 15th St. Continue on 15th St until you reach the intersection with Waller St. Turn right on Waller St, then take the first left onto E 4th St. The Visitor Center will be on your right at 602 E 4th St. There is parking available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees.

To reach the Austin Visitor Center using public transportation, locate the nearest Capital Metro bus stop. You can take any bus line that stops at the Downtown area, such as the 1 (Lamar/66), 3 (Burnet/Manor), or 5 (Woodrow). If you're close to the MetroRail, board a train heading towards Downtown. Get off at the Downtown Station and walk east towards E 4th St. The Visitor Center is located at 602 E 4th St, just a few blocks away from the station.
