If you're driving from downtown Austin, head northwest on W 6th St toward N Lamar Blvd. Continue onto W 15th St, then turn left onto N Mopac Expy. Take the exit toward W 35th St and merge onto W 35th St. The Texas Military Forces Museum will be on your right at 3038 W 35th St. There is parking available on-site.

To reach the Texas Military Forces Museum using public transportation, take the MetroBus Route 3 from downtown Austin. Board the bus at the stop nearest to you heading toward the 'Mopac & 35th' stop. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the '35th & Mopac' stop. From there, walk west along W 35th St for about 10 minutes until you reach the museum located at 3038 W 35th St.

If you're coming from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, take TX-71 W from the airport. Merge onto I-35 N and continue for about 7 miles. Take exit 235B for W 15th St. Turn left onto W 15th St, then turn right onto N Mopac Expy. Follow the signs for W 35th St and merge onto W 35th St. The museum will be on your right at 3038 W 35th St.
