If you're driving from downtown Austin, head east on E 6th St toward N I-35. Turn right onto N I-35 and follow it for about 2 miles. Take exit 234A toward US-290 E/Ben White Blvd. Continue on US-290 E for about 1.5 miles, then take the exit toward TX-183 N. Merge onto TX-183 N and take the exit toward E 11th St. Turn left onto E 11th St, and after a few blocks, you'll find the Texas Music Museum at 1009 E 11th St, Austin, TX 78702. There is street parking available, but please check for any parking fees.

From downtown Austin, you can catch a bus operated by Capital Metro. Board the 1L or 3 bus route at any downtown stop heading towards East Austin. Get off at the stop closest to E 11th St and I-35.
