Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Texas A&M University campus, head towards the main entrance of the university at the intersection of Texas Ave and University Dr. From there, walk straight along University Dr for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Wellborn Rd. Turn right onto Wellborn Rd and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to the Bonfire Memorial on your left, located within the History Walk area. The memorial is situated at the coordinates 30.622666, -96.335201, and is well-marked, making it easy to find.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available around College Station. Starting from the Texas A&M campus, head south on Texas Ave, then turn left onto University Dr. Follow University Dr until it intersects with Wellborn Rd, where you will turn right. Continue biking along Wellborn Rd for about 0.3 miles, and you will find Bonfire Memorial on your left. The bike ride should take about 10-15 minutes.

• Public Transit

  To reach the Bonfire Memorial via public transit, locate the nearest bus stop on Texas A&M campus. Take the bus route that heads towards Wellborn Rd. After getting off at the Wellborn Rd stop, walk north for about 5 minutes, and you will see the memorial on your right. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the most convenient route and times.

• Electric Scooter

  You can also use an electric scooter for a fun and quick ride. Locate a nearby scooter rental station around the Texas A&M campus. After unlocking a scooter, head south on Texas Ave, then turn left onto University Dr. Continue until you reach Wellborn Rd, where you will turn right. The Bonfire Memorial will be on your left after about 0.3 miles. Riding a scooter will take approximately 10 minutes.
