Getting There

• Public Bus

  To reach Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve from downtown Corpus Christi, start by boarding the bus at the nearest bus stop. You can catch the bus route #4 (Oso) at the City Hall or any downtown bus stop. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Oso Parkway and Rodd Field Road. From there, disembark and walk east along Oso Parkway for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at the entrance of Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve located at 2446 N Oso Pkwy.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Corpus Christi. Head east on Water Street towards the shoreline, then take the bike path that follows Shoreline Boulevard until you reach the intersection with S Padre Island Drive. Turn left and continue on the bike lane, then take a right onto Oso Parkway. Follow Oso Parkway for about 2 miles, and you'll find Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve at 2446 N Oso Pkwy.

• Walking

  For those who wish to walk to Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve, you can start from the downtown area. Head south on Chaparral Street and continue until you reach the intersection with S Padre Island Drive. Cross over and proceed on the sidewalk along S Padre Island Drive until you reach the intersection with Oso Parkway. Turn left onto Oso Parkway and walk for approximately 1.5 miles, where you’ll find the entrance to Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve at 2446 N Oso Pkwy.
