If you are starting from downtown Dallas, walk to the nearest DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) station, which is the Akard Station on the Blue Line. Board the Blue Line train heading towards the Ledbetter Station. Stay on the train for about 20 minutes and get off at the Ledbetter Station. Once you exit the station, transfer to the DART Bus Route 442. Board the bus and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop near 650 S R.L. Thornton Fwy, where the Dallas Zoo is located.
