Public Transit - DART Light Rail
To reach Deep Ellum using the DART Light Rail, locate the nearest DART station. If you're in downtown Dallas, the nearest station is the 'Akard Station.' From there, board the Blue Line train heading towards the 'Ledbetter' station. Stay on the train for three stops until you reach 'Deep Ellum Station.' Once you exit the train, follow the signs directing you to the street level. Deep Ellum is just a short walk away, approximately 5 minutes, straight ahead.
Public Transit - Bus
If you prefer the bus, check the DART bus schedule for the nearest bus stop. Buses 1, 29, and 50 all have routes that serve the Deep Ellum area. Board one of these buses and remain on until you reach the stop closest to Deep Ellum. The bus will drop you off at various locations, but a good stop is 'Main St @ Hall St.' From there, walk east on Main Street for about 10 minutes to arrive at Deep Ellum.
Walking
If you are already in a nearby neighborhood like downtown Dallas or the Arts District, you can walk to Deep Ellum. From the Dallas Museum of Art, head east on Flora St. towards Harwood St. Continue on Harwood St. until you reach Main St. Turn left on Main St. and walk straight for about 15-20 minutes until you enter Deep Ellum. You’ll know you’re there when you see the vibrant murals and music venues.
Biking
Dallas has bike-sharing services available. Rent a bike from a nearby station and head towards Deep Ellum. If you’re starting from Klyde Warren Park, take the bike lane on St. Paul St. heading south. After a few blocks, turn right onto Main St. and continue until you reach Deep Ellum. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed.
