Walking
If you are near the Strand Historic District, start by heading east on Strand Street. Turn left onto 25th Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Harborside Drive. Turn right onto Harborside Drive and keep walking until you see the Galveston Cruise Terminal. Continue walking along Harborside Drive, which will turn into 2002 Wharf Rd. The Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig and Museum will be located on your left.

Public Transit (Bus)
Locate the nearest bus stop for the Galveston Island Transit (GIT) system. Board the bus route that heads towards the beach or the Strand area. Inform the driver that you are going to Wharf Rd. and ask for the stop nearest to 2002 Wharf Rd. After getting off, walk along the road towards the museum, which will be visible from the street.

If you have access to a bike, start from the Strand area. Head east on Strand Street, then turn left on 25th Street. Continue to Harborside Drive, where you can ride along the waterfront.
