    If you are in the downtown area of Galveston, start by heading east on Strand Street until you reach 21st Street. Turn left (north) and walk up to Seawall Boulevard. Once at Seawall Boulevard, continue east until you reach 61st Street. Here, you can catch the Galveston Island Trolley, which will take you down to the east end of the island. Get off at the stop near 100 Seawolf Park Blvd.

    From the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, head south on the Seawall Boulevard bike path. Continue along the Seawall until you reach 61st Street, where you will turn left to head towards the east end of the island.
