    If you are at the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, exit the pier and head northwest on 25th Street towards Seawall Blvd. Turn left onto Seawall Blvd and continue for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto Broadway Ave. After approximately 0.4 miles, turn left onto 8th Street. Continue on 8th Street until you reach Moody Avenue. Turn right onto Moody Avenue, and the Galveston County Historical Museum will be on your left at 722 Moody Ave.

    Start your journey from the Galveston Island State Park. Exit the park and head east on Park Road 61. Turn left onto FM 3005 and continue until you reach the intersection with 61st Street.
