If you are starting from the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, exit the pier and head east on Seawall Blvd. Continue walking along Seawall Blvd for about 1.5 miles until you reach 29th Street. Turn left (north) onto 29th Street and walk straight until you reach Avenue O 1/2. Turn right (east) onto Avenue O 1/2 and walk for about 2 blocks. If you are starting from the Strand Historic District, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops. Head east on Mechanic Street, which will lead you to 20th Street.
